HOW It WOrkS:

CONSIGN YOUR FURNITURE:

  • Email photos of your furniture pieces to info@consigningdesign.com for approval
  • Our customers preferences must be in our selection guidelines. All items must be clean, stain free, pet hair free, and in good condition. We make appointments for furniture items Monday-Saturday
  • Schedule an appointment to bring your approved items in for consignment
  • The ladies at Petersons’ are unable to unload furniture items. Please make sure to bring help to unload. Big Brother Moving is a fabulous moving company that can deliver your items. They can be reached at 919.625.9425
  • You will be given a personal account to check the status of all your items.
  • You will receive suggested pricing via email the same day your item(s) arrive. and it will be on your personal account. We will price your items based on experience, condition, demand, brand, and age.
  • The contract is for 120 days
  • Items will reduce 10-15% every 30 days the item is still available
  • 50/50 split on all furniture items
  • We will work hard to find your items new homes
  • Checks are cut once a month for the previous months sales
  • We do NOT charge a start up fee. A small handling fee is added to each item to cover credit card fees & online fees but this is paid for by the PURCHASER not the consignor.

CONSIGN YOUR HOME DECOR:

  • You may bring up to 10 items anytime Monday-Thursday without an appointment for us to view
  • We can schedule appointments if you have more than 10 items or need to come on a Friday or Saturday
  • You will receive 40% of all sales on home decor pieces
  • Our customers preferences must be in our selection guidelines
  • You will be given a personal account to check the status of all your items.
  • You will receive suggested pricing via email and it will be on your personal account. We will price your items based on experience, condition, demand, brand, and age. 
  • The contract is for 120 days 
  • Items reduce 10-15% after 30 days if unsold

  • You may bring a Maximum of 25 items to your appointment for us to view
  • We will display & sell your items for 60 days
  • You’ll receive 40% of each sell and you’ll receive 50% on all designer items
  • Items reduce every 30 days the item is still available
  • Checks are cut once a month for the previous months sales
  • You’ll receive a personal online account to view the status of your items at anytime 
  • You’ll have 7 days to collect any items if unsold
  • We hand pick each item based off of what our customers are looking for. Our customers preferences will always be in our selection guidelines.
  •  Items in trash bags will never be accepted.
  •  We do NOT charge a start up fee. A small handling fee is added to each item to cover credit card fees & online fees but this is paid for by the PURCHASER not the consignor.
